Im just wondering how long your stock turbos lasted with both the tst and edge on. Tell me what level and what rpms you were at when you blew her up

I don't have the boxes stacked, but my stocker is hanging in there with the TST on 9 for a very short burst. Peaks at about 40psi, then drops to hold steady at 32 on lower settings. On 5, it peaks at 32, then holds at 30.

I'm still running the stock turbo also. I have the ez on 5 and there boost elbow installed. I can hit 40 right away and hold over 32 through all the gears. runs so good I won the route 66 burnout contest. I will most likely switch to a b2 or something along those lines. Waiting of the warrenty to run out on the trans before I go any higher on the HP. So I can upgrade the trans. Word out there is there will be an adapter kit to put a alison in soon. And that would make this truck perfect. :-laf

If you have ever cleaned out the pipes and intercooler from oil and bits of turbo fins, you would go ahead and put on a proper turbo beforehand! Quite a mess and time consuming. That's why I put on the DD Jammer turbo and have the stocker on the shelf, unmolested.

:D

Mine is still together today. I felt the same as Joe, better to fix it before it breaks. I ran with the TST 9-9 and a quadzilla pressure box 100HP. My turbo had 36,000 miles on it when I took it off.

You and I think alike... I cringe when I read about people running high TST settings on a stock turbo - let alone people stacking an EZ with a TST at lvl 9 (but only for short bursts, so it'll be OK  )

I'm thinking of buying a bunch of turbos from Keith, a tanker truck of brake cleaner, some garden hose to 3" pipe plug adapters, and a whole lot of Scotts Shop Towels, and offering a bundled "Oops, I torched my turbo" repair kit :)

If Im not mistaking a lot of Tst equipped trucks have blown b1s - Is the b1 bomber not more heavy duty than the Jammer ?Is the DD turbo - the right turbo ? Go ahead and call piers , and ask what turbo is needed for the tst - You will get a Reply of twins are needed (proper) Set up. You might need that - I torched my turbo kit yourselves!

I think people trying to run 100 hp injectors and a tst are more apt to blow a stock turbo or jammer for that matter.

I have run the snot out of my truck with the tst and few different brands of fueling modules - Factory turbo - For over 30,000 k Shift alot of times over 3000 rpm.

The least of my worries are the turbo. But I have ordered a new turbo -But Not the (proper) turbo . Maybe when I install the new turbo and take her for a rip , It will grenade and then I will need the ( KIT) - We mod we takes a chance !

The B-1's that got blown were mostly Kwik spools from what I recall.

The new B-1 04 if properly wastegated should last a long time.

My stocker is still holding after about 10 hooks to the sled.
