how long have any of you been running the BHAF before replacing it? Miles or Months? I have had mine in for about 1 1/2 years and was thinking about replacing it.

Mine never lasted that long, it always seem to get pretty filthy within 6 months. I replace mine around 15k. The local Napa has them for $32.

I put on a Outerwears prefilter on my BHAF. I just wash it off when it needs it. The BHAF still looks new after 10,000 miles. With plenty of off roading.

Part # WR3325-105, 105 is for the color red. Power Pro sells them for $25, 1-865-856-0510

I second the outerwears cover, i have one on mine. how long your filter lasts depends on the conditions you drive in. dusty areas will kill a filter fast.

I have 13,000 miles and about 1 year 9 months on mine, pretty much all city and highway driving. It's a little gray, but not dirt-plugged. Guess I'll change it out one of these days... .

I drilled a 3/4" hole in the end of my BHAF and installed the original filter minder. It has been on for over a year now and used pretty heavily in very dusty conditions, and the filter minder still has not moved. The compressor vanes are clean and no goo buildup in the ducting. Should it be replaced? I will get to it sometime.
