My NV4500 is leaking a tiny bit out the back of the transmission where the T-case hooks up. I suspect it is a bad outshaft seal and I'm taking it to D/C on Thursday @ 8am to get it fixed.

Considering it is the seal and they have it in stock, do you guys think they would be able to fix it by Friday @ 5? I really don't want to be w/out the truck this weekend and I'll move my appointment if necessary.

I should hope so. . it will take them longer to walk over to the parts counter and pull the part, than it will for the tech to change it out :D

Todd, I think it will take a little longer than that. If it is the transmission output seal leaking, then the transfer case will have to be pulled. Should be no more than a couple hours to do the seal.

Will they have to refill the transmission when they do it? I have to replace my transmission fluid but I'd like to not doing if D/C is going to do it under warranty.
