How long on ordered trucks???

My status went to KZ today also but they didn't have a railcar number yet either... kkirkpatrick ours may get to share the same ride to Texas!!!

KZ here too today according to my dealer! Now all they need to do is get it here. . My dealer claims he's put an expidite status on it, I sure hope that's true. Lessee. . I think it's been about 3 and a half months so far and it's not even here yet. .

Don't think DRW is the problem

I really don't think the DRW is the problem. I ordered mine 4 September; took delivery 17 October. Love this truck. Its better in every way than the 99. Brakes, steering, noise level, everything. I've got 1900 miles so far and have averaged 17. 5 MPG with mostly around town driving.



Hang in there, Your truck will be worth the wait!!!

I ordered mine on 10-29-02, and it was just received today at the dealership. Will let them PDI it and pick it up tomorrow afternoon.

Yes, I did get the rail car number from the dealer, then I used 1-800-272-8777 (UPR) to track it.

Because I got hosed, over and over. . First they ran out of graphite metallic paint. That took a month. Then they got paint but just let the order sit for another month in BX status (no one knows why, and it took a lot of yelling to get them to move it to D). . Then they put it in storage for a week after being built.



I just hope they don't lose it now.

I guess you guys know we will probably get another delay on receiving our trucks, with the Thanksgiving Holiday coming up next week. Maybe we will get them by Christmas. Never know, maybe they will up the rebate to $2000. 00 by then.

The dealer just stopped by the house and informed me that my truck is in Selkirk, NY and will be here by Saturday . It will be 7 weeks Monday since the truck was ordered. Chrysler told me it would be 18 days or so for it to get here once it was shipped in Mexico. That would have been Monday as well. It will be a long time between now and Saturday when the Great Silver Beast arrives ( and even longer for those living with me). Oo. Oo. Oo. Oo. Oo.

Called today and still in KZ status, released by plant, but not shipped. Guess it will sit another week.

My dealer called me at 10:19 this morning and told me they were unloading my truck from the trailer. So that makes it 6 weeks and 3 days to the dealer. I was at the dealer's (1 1/2 miles) about 3 minutes after I hung up the phone. I went over it with a fine tooth comb and the fit and finish seem to be superb at first glance. I was surprised and delighted to see that the tailgate height appears to be a higher than my 98. 5. It is a fine looking truck. Rhino liner is going on Tuesday and the pinstriping next Friday.

Called today and I now have a status of KZT--2nd rail departure--- my rep didn't find a railcar number but he said it was headed to Westfield... . anyone know where Westfield is??

Glad to hear something is finally moving. I also called today and mine is still KZ status sitting in Mexico. I am really getting tired of the delays. David, you must have a lot more patience than I do. I found a truck just like I ordered about 75 miles from here and I am about ready to buy it before the rebate expires.

kkirkpatrick, sorry yours is still KZ, I figured they'd be shipped together since they were going to TX, I saw a flame red 3500 DRW 4x4 the other day and it was one sharp truck... . Hope you get yours soon.....

Just call still BX (20 days) now the line is that dealer does not yet have an allotment for the truck. Called dealer they don't know the answer will find out. Said they would look for a truck and see it there is one that would match and get it for me. 9 weeks and waiting.
