GOOD NEWS !

Called DC today, 12/6. Status is KZT (2nd rail departure), was D1 Monday, 12/02/02. Surprise! Looks like I may get my truck in a few days if it keeps moving like this. Keeping my fingers crossed.

Have to fly to NE Oklahoma to pick it up @ Mark Roberts Motors.

10/25: Surprise! It's in "KZ" (built, released, invoiced, but not shipped yet) status.



11/6: KZ status was effective 24 Oct; was shipped from Saltillo 25 oct; arrived at Vera Cruz 29 Oct; average transit time from Saltillo to dealer (on Florida east Coast) estimated at 19 days



11/14: Departed Vera Cruz (by ship to Tampa--then by truck to dealer) 13 Nov

11/19: DC reports truck is in Tampa awaiting transport--arrived 11 Nov. Neat trick, sez I, arriving two days before it left Vera Cruz. CSR checks with manager, comes back and says it's all a mistake--truck hasn't left Vera Cruz at all



11/21: Preparing to leave for hunting trip with parents' minivan (launch slip delayed my departure); salesman called to tell me truck is on transporter (yeah, I heard this two days ago, I'm thinking) out in front of dealership. Oo. Oo. Oo.



Gave them a few hours to prep it, picked it up, drove straight to the topper dealer to have waiting topper installed, then home, loaded up, and hit the highway for Wisconsin and (missing opening day) deer season with my new truck. Oo. Oo. Oo.



Back home two weeks later with over 4,000 miles on it already.

Here is one for you, just off the phone with DC status on my order just went from BX to BG. Ask twice said that it was BX, the CSR said ya it is BG now???? Just said ok and hung up. What a way to do bussiness.

Got it Last night !

Love it,not as fast as my last,and I need to get used to shifting again,but with an EZ box I'll be just fine.

The only other thing is a leveling kit. they should sit a little higher in front. Mike
