Two oil changes and 4400mi later, I'm ready to start BOMBing my 2001. 5. How many mi should I let the stock ISB go to get settled in before I start with the upgrades? I already has gauges in my truck, now I'm ready for a box of some kind. I've been leaning toward the EZ, but I've got a buddy that works in a diesel shop that is a BD dealer and can give me a smokin' deal on a Plug-n-Power. I've searched and found lots of pro's for both of these, but what about the cons of these vs. each other?

On your 2001. 5 you have little yellow void stickers on the connector where the Plug-n-Power plugs in. The EZ plugs in where there is no void stickers. Performance wise I couldn't offer any recommendations.

stop the paranioa

screw the void stickers. The Va and EZ are both great products

BTW the 2002 Ram now has a void sticker on the map sensor,

so now you are screwed with the EZ too :(

I like Herber's response  . I waited until my first oil change, 2200 miles. Then I added the Edge EZ, the rest is history :D .

BOMB's away it is...

I like the 1hr or 1 mile theory... Kind of like the DC warranty policy. Still don't know if it will be the VA or the EZ. Any comments performance wise?

JLinder, I have driven both extensively. I like the VA combined with a boost module a ton better than the EZ. It has better low end power and the same top end. This is all from the seat-of-the-pants meter, I have not dyno'd both or seen data from both on the same truck. For me the VA and the boost module would get the nod, even considering the extra cost. Hope this helped.

void sticker?

I keep seeing this talk about a void sticker on the 2001 and newer I have yet to see a void sticker. My truck or my uncles truck with no void sticker, also took a look at a few around the area and have not seen a void sticker. Does it matter where you live or where the truck was built? Just wondering. Thanks
