how long to install PMCR?

i'm going to order a PMCR.

how long will it to install it? massdiesel is going to do it. i want to know how long i'll be there for. thanks... james

I've unplugged mine and put it back to stock in about 10min. Starting from scratch I'd say an hour+ with all the wire running. Longer if they're hooking up boost and temp to it.

Better figure at least 2 hours more if their doing the guage work.

Figure up to a 45 minute variance on the cam and crank position sensor plugs. They're hard to get to. They took me about 5 minutes, but some people have struggled with them for an hour or so.

For guys like that who know what they're doing, and have done it before, I'd be surprised if it took more than 90 minutes or so.

couple more questions... .

where is the cheapest place to get a pmcr with guages? also, could one of you get the measurements of the guage pod? i'd like to bend up a stand for it to go on the top of the dash by the a-pillar under the handle. i figure i can use 3M emblum tape to stick it there. thanks... . james

I have one for sale in the classifieds.

I also run one in my 04. 5, great product to say the least.

The digital gauges are really trick!
