Did you get the HO engine? I ordered the ETC engine on 1/17/01 and the truck was delivered to the dealer on 3/10/01. I drove the truck away on 3/20/01. Mine was made in St. Louis.

Did you get the HD trans case, and extra $100?

My Mexico built was ordered 12-11-00 and I picked it up 2-11-01.

It helped to pass the time by doing many searches and printing off posts on all kinds of stuff like how to do oil, fuel filter changes, and opinions on aftermarket stuff like K&N, shocks,etc. When my truck arrived I had a list of things I immediately started adding, like my fuel additive before I drove off the lot #ad

I ordered the ETC with automatic trans. Yeah, I added the 241HD transfer case. I thought hard about the snow plow prep, but since I have very little snow in south GA, I did not want to chance the possibly rougher/stiffer ride. I've heard some say that there's no difference in front springs with or without the snow plow group anyway. I hope my MPG's aren't too terribly disappointing with the auto though. THanks guys-

nightcrawler, just got my truck on monday 4-16, I ordered on 1-21 i believe. My truck came from saint louis, but was held up in the train yard for almost 4 weeks. It left the plant on 3-5-01, got to the dealer 4-14. The dealer told me to expect 8-10 weeks when i ordered, but was longer, Fluke deal though, they ruined a tire getting it off the train, and instead of putting the spare on and sending it to the dealer, they let it sit there until the higher powers ok'd a new tire or something like that. Call the 1-800 number from dodge, and you can track it, im at work dont have it with me, but you can find it on fritz' web page. Helps to pass the time while you wait. but it is worth it man. good luck

Im also a new member with a 2500 turbo diesel on order. The order was sent in 2/28 and was told today by the dealer that it was in "F" status which means it is being built at this time. I hope it doesnt take more than a couple weeks to get it to the dealer cause I can hardly wait!!! Also, Ive been reading this site for several months and think its great.

I talked to my dealer on 4/14 and he keyed the order into the computer. This was last Saturday. He told me he would have a ship date on Monday. However, I talked to him yesterday (Wednesday) and he said he had a serial number, but his DC people were off and he did not have a ship date yet. Has the truck been ordered and being processed, or must my dealer contact DC via phone to place the order? Is the serial number the same as the VIN? Again, this is a great site, thanks guys-

I work for CSX and our trains bring in alot of ISB Rams to Twin Oaks PA. There was about 12 of them in last week, all diesels. Makes me wonder if any of them belong to any TDR members. If anybody lives in NJ or PA and is waiting for one, let me know. Maybe i can let you know when its in!. The window stickers have the customers name on them so it should be easy enough.

I started looking at Dodge RAM trucks on I-75 and about half were diesels... I love mine!
