Well my truck was supposed to get here soon but it seems the railcar it is on is going the wrong way???? I should have never checked insight. Location has been unknown for the last 2 days but the previousl two locations given showed a trend of going the wrong way(east instead of west). Oh well it will get here----sometime.
I ordered a 3500 12/18 finally got tired of waiting and made the dealer find me one already built. ended up with black 3500 laramie on April 2nd. The one I ordered was a silver XLT+. The dealer just recieved my original orderd truck on May 18th. Central Valley Ca.
Yea I called Rob--Said he would call Dodge and find out what was up. Never did call back despite my leaving another message. Looks like my Truck is on railcar as of today with a June 4 delivery date. Your truck shows plant release (I'm sure you know this as you are probably checking as often as I am) Geno's truck--he ordered 3 days before mine from Rob-- has been sitting in Longfellow TX for close to a week.
Ordered: 17 MAR 04
D1: 16 APR 04
KZ: 01 MAY 04
Loaded on Railcar: 15 MAY 04
Deliver to Dealer: 03 JUN 04 (hopefully)
I've been tracking it the whole way. UPRR had good tracking through each town (when it finally started to move). It interchanged at St. Louis to NSRR. Since then I've been watching it on Insight. I was surprised how much Insight is updated with the status. I can watch it go through each town with a new update every 3 to 4 hours. It's in Detroit now, almost at the yard to be unloaded off the railcar. Now I just have to wait for it to get loaded on a car hauler and up to Saginaw. It's getting close It looks like it will be a little shy of 12 weeks for me.
