It took damn near two months before they even began construction. I'm am highly displeased to say the least. Picking up a new vehicle is supposed to be a happy moment, but it wasn't.

I'm a Dodge man, and would never consider buying any other brand truck, but NO truck is worth this grueling of a wait. I had my buddy, that's a Chevy fan, ready to take delivery of a CTD, but the wait was too long. Needless to say, he's in a new Dmax now. DC really dropped the ball on this one. Dealer wouldn't do a damn thing, "It's not our fault", was the reply. :-{} No accountability or responsibility will be claimed by either DC or dealer.

Pennsylvania Ordered 3-22-04 due in 6-7-04. Dealer says its been in Maryland but there is a truck driver's strike. Has anyone heard of this?

I ordered my truck the first time on 2-28-04. Went back to dealer on 3-27-04 to check status and they forgot to order it. Sent order in on 3-27-04 and I'm still waiting. Supposed to be here today 6-4-04 or Monday. Here are the route movements:

D1 schedule to build 4-16-04

Plant Release (KZ) 4-29-04

Shipping instructions - Corrected 6-2-04

VIN Bay Preassignment 6-03-04 Santa Rosa, NM

I seriously doubt I will ever order another truck. Will pick up truck at Albuquerque, NM. hopefully today. I think they are taking way to long on their siestas.

Ordered: Bright White, SRW 3500, 325-600, tow pkg, lb

Ordered 3-22-04, currently "sittin' on the dock of the bay... " in NJ after the boat ride from Vera Cruz. Insight no longer shows an ETA for delivery. I asked my dealer about a trucker's strike and he hadn't heard of any, said they dropped off a few new cars just that day.

The vigil continues... .

We must have been on the same boat. I ordered mine on 3/3/04 from Lincoln RI dealer. My 4. 5 arrived in NJ on 5/20 and has sat there ever since. The dealer is telling me he has no way of determining when it will ship from NJ to them.

Over 2 weeks it has sat 4 hours away!! Hard to take...

Anyone have any good advice on how to get this moving along?

I would Hope DC would hate to hear this...

Customer willing to pay for his vehicle is waiting in unknown delivery date of a completed truck.

I hope NJ gets a few extra trucks to get these things moving...

Not good!

Mine arrived in NJ on 5/24 although maybe it was same boat, just didn't get recorded until then. I live in the boonies so if they are waiting until they have a ful truck it could be a looong time.

Hope we get our trucks soon! I don't know of any way to speed things up, especially at this stage of the game.

Ordered on 05/07/2004, scheduled to arrive at dealership on 06/28/2004. I guess that's about 7 weeks from start to finish.

I hope it's a good one.

I'm sure it will be. My original ETA was pushed back about 5 times while I tracked it for a total of two additional weeks (so far), FWIW.

Wouldn't that be about 59 weeks? :D

Hi guys, glad I'm not the only one waiting.

NJ - ordered 3-23-04

D1 - 4-22-04

KZ - 5-06-04

Now - sitting on a train waiting for a boat. The delivery date has been moved back 8 days (in the last 7 days) so at that rate I should get it ..... Never?

If you read the drivel on the insight page, it says the goal was to cut days, not hours, off the delivery time, which when it was written averaged 12 days.

Boy, 12 days would sure have been nice.
