Late production 2002 3500HO-Bone Stock 56K, FASS pump at 52K-was getting nervous before a big road trip about loosing a L/P. -Use Power Service when ever towing. Truck is a hanger queen-Doesn't get used much.
My dad is currently in at 270k on the original VP44 in his 99... not sure what mileage/when I posted last.
They are planning on doing some more involved travel this coming year and we intend on replacing the VP44 just to be sure. Although he doesn't notice, I can tell his truck is lagging a little on power... but it always starts and gives a very reliable 21 mpg highway.

Mine is running on 140k miles. I have replaced two lift pumps, one for leaking due to ULSD.
I have a friend that has a 2001 auto with 270k miles. No lift pump or VP problems and no fuel filter for the first 60k miles... ... until I filled him in.
A couple weeks ago he told me that his truck had been hard to start for a couple of weeks so I assumed dead lift pump. I took my check guage and sure enough no pressure, I couldn't even hear it run. I had an extra campaign pump so he put it in. Now starts like new... ...
