The last thing that my salesman did, before I left the dealership, was to drive with me to the station and fill it up with diesel. I didn't even have to ask for it.

Station was closed when I picked mine up; no biggie. Salesman called me next day and asked me to fill it up and send them the receipt. They sent me a check.

Yes, I WILL buy there again.

English Chrysler Dodge Jeep, Wauchula, FL. I guess I can post that.

After a couple of hours of beating up the salesman, I got my 04 Laramie for about 32K. When we finally agreed on the price, the sales manager came out from behind the curtain like the great "OZ" and said he wanted to shake my hand. He told me I got "all there wuz outta this deal" and told me if I insisted on them filling up my truck, he would cancel the deal. May have been pulling my leg a little but made me feel good.

Now thats funny!!!! I made sure the dealer knew filling my tank up was part of the deal.

finished the deal late so the salesman had me come back the next day and get it filled. the light came on about 2 blocks from the dealer :D

After haggling with the dealer to get my 05, they said they would have it fueled and ready to go.

When I arrived to pick it up, it was washed, detailed just like they said.

In my excitement, I didnt check the gauge. Having left the lot, I noticed it was down.

Clicked on the overhead and it said 4 miles to empty.

Luckily, there is a station close by.

My 2005 Dodge Ram came with only a 1/2 tank of gas when I bought it brand new. When I bought my 2000 Ford Excusion the gas light was on and had to fill it up. Three weeks ago bought a 2007 Toyota Camry Hybrid, the gas tank was full.

My dealer gave me a coupon good for 20 bucks at a service station around the corner. When I got there they didn't even have diesel. I used the 20 bucks to by a road map book and a couple of 4-packs of red bull. Has anyone had a dealer that lost? The truck is a 05 quad st, power nothing, rubber floor, no mats. Pos unit, A/C,cruise, tow package w/ 3. 73 gears, cd player. 28. 5K out the door.

I got a full tank, but ironically they gave me a voucher good at the station and I had to fill it myself!

Had to fight for it

I got a full tank, but I had to fight for it (big time). I ordered the truck and because of some changes at my job I was on the fence about getting it when it arrived. I had to threaten to walk from the deal, and point out the $1260 hold back the dealer was making to shake $60 worth of diesel out of them.

I ordered my truck in April and received it on July 3rd. The deal I worked in April must have been good, because when I picked it up in July, the employee pricing plus was only $23 less than the deal I made when I ordered the truck.

The sticker was $44k, and I paid $36k.
