I can only help you with model year 2000 and newer—there are three. One on the upper ball joint of each steering knuckle and one on the ball joint of the drag link.
I imagine your model year 1999 has , at least, those three.
There aren't really any hidden ones but there are missing ones. My 95 has 6, newer models got shorted. Some folks have added zerks to the "greased for life" ones in order to prolong the joint's lives. Might be a wise thing to do, it is very easy. Over greasing is probably worse than not greasing at all, one or two shots is plenty.
Mine has 5 zerks,,,, the 2 on the tie rod ends,2 on the drag link, if thats what ya call it and 1 on the end of the track bar. Hope this helps. The one faces "uphill" and sometimes you can turn the steering wheel a bit to get it to "show up"
I've drilled and tapped in zerks in other u-joint crosses on farm equipment before, but not on a Dodge. What is necessary are grease galleys in the cross, not sure that our truck's u-joints have this. You would probably have to remove the cross to add a zerk even if it has a galley, by the time you do that you might as well replace the the cross with one that has a zerk. It is a known fact that a greaseable u-joint is weaker since the cross is hollow for the grease galley. Some even claim that just the weight of the zerk throws things out of balance, I have a hard time believing that myself.
