Will a WH1C support a full forward stock plate in a 160 pump and a set of 40hp injectors? Dont tow, just commute.

hahaha funny you should ask. I have a friend in Ohio (Dodgeman01 on DTR & KYDTR) that has a #10 full forward (probably), PDR 370's, JR Adkins Laser Cut DV's, and 19* timing... ... ... all on a stock WH1C! with a 18. 5 1st Gen Exh. Housing  :--)

Does it like it? NO! And the EGT gauge tells so! :-laf

But has it taken it so far... ... YEAH! And he's got about 4 pulls under its belt too!

Its a tough little turbo, just keep your eyes on the gauge! That's what I did with my 97 HX35x12 with #10 & PDR 370's. ;)

Call ht turbo, real nice guys and decent prices. I have an upgraded compressor wheel and housing from them to help mine breath a little better. Good bomb for the $ and I didn't have to remove the turbo.

You can make some nice power increases while retaining the WH1C. When I had my stock plate full forward and a couple of cranks on the star wheel, I could not exceed 1200*. Since I installed the 3kGSK with #10 plate nearly full forward, I have to watch the EGT's, especially if I stand on it from a start.
