Toyota vans in Africa

It is very common to see 19 people in these vans. Our guide told us there was a crash, about a year before we were there in '00, where 26 black people died. It is pretty funny to see 5 rows of seats in one of these little vans. As a side note..... in the little town we hunted out of, there was a toyota truck that the wheel and hub fell off of. It was in the middle of the road and was still there when we left 7days later .

More or less this is true... . only the legal thing. Dads parents came from Kiev to the US at the begining of last century. Ellis island was the place and a purpose (job/skill) had to be proven at the time of entry. I believe you needed a sponseror the like.



The resentment of todays immigration is, IMO, due to our standards meeting theirs, or at least our compromising our standards.

My ancestors came over here from Germany in 1849. They did it legally. They didn't get on welfare. They became Americans, learned English, joined the American culture, and obeyed the laws.



That is not what we are getting today. The Mexicans coming here have no intention of joining our culture. They have no intention of speaking English or of obeying our laws. They want to take back the entire American S. W. They even have a name for it: Aztlan



Arabs coming here also have no intention of joining our culture. They are quite adamant about conquering America in the name of Mohammed.



Irish, on the other hand... Europeans... even Japanese, and some Chinese DO want to join our culture.



I'm not against all immigration. (Just most) We are taking in WAY too many to assimilate, and if we don't assimilate them they WILL turn against us as a group. This leads to revolt. Which is where the L. A. Hispanic & Asian street gangs have positioned themselves. They see themselves as revolutionary gangsters in the mold of Poncho Villa. They romanticize their criminal activity as fighting "White Oppression". I say we're not oppressing them enough... we need to oppress them all the way back to Mexico!

Bottom line... . when you are thee best country in the world, everyone wants to be on your soil. Now, the unususal part is the failure of the "melting pot", they call it a salad bowl now, is the fact that many other countries are taking on "western culture". This is a real mind-blower... .come here and retain your country of origans culture, stay there and experience the "western culture".
