Engine/Transmission (1994 - 1998) How many miles before rear engine seal started leaking?

Trans is coming out tomorow and thinking about the rear seal. Dont want to mess with it as it is fine now and I dont think the trans shop is the right guys to do this replacement.

Mine isn't leaking with over 200k, but if I was to remove the transmission right now I'd replace it. My feeling is that any shop that can pull a transmission should have no problem replacing the seal, after all many times a clutch problem is due to a leaking rear seal oil soaking the clutch. Well within their normal field of expertise.

mine went at about 78k maybe just a freak thing but i had it redone.....
