31K on the 13, 11K on the wifes 04, and 4K on the 97 before it was sold in September. Much better than it was 15 years ago when I drove 110K/year.

We just got a nice pay raise in this department. The wife used to do 800-1000 a week. Last month she found a job doing the same work (RN case manager) from home, and for $1500 a year more on her salary. A two for one deal, (not including maintenance). Now, I'm driving her TDI to work which is 55 miles round trip so my fuel expense has literally been halved as well. It's been a most welcome change, and that much more I can now put into my truck fund:)

I am retired now so no daily drive to work. I did tow my sled pulling pickup, with my '01 Dodge, 10k miles this past summer. 15 pulls in 6 states, average 12 mpg and about 5/32's of drive tire rubber:-laf
Looking forward to about the same this year.

Wayne, just the western states, Arizona is so far from anywhere:-laf the travel expense is considerable as it is. The sport has lagged in the west forever compared to the east, there is a new aggressive organization that just started up last year that should change the sport out here. They have 20 pulls scheduled this year in 10 states and Canada, all out west thou. I am in Hog heaven:D

I hear ya on the expense, I am on hiatus with my efforts until I retire myself and one reason is the bridge toll to get back on this rock. It just went up to $14 per axle! The toll structure is herel
