How many miles on your 3rd gen injectors?

My friend Chris finally changed "Snowball's" injectors at 493K. (see post 118) Number 6 had a little more carbon build-up. Maybe fuel mileage is slightly better.

Buddy Chris gave me a buzz yesterday. His 06 mega cab with 166k on the clock dropped an injector tip and warped some valves. This truck leads the life of leisure, especially compared to his hard working "Snowball".

S267,000 Stock everything. No repairs and injectors are fine. Had a miss once and used some cleaner, in 15 minutes it was gone. that was at 210,000.

However I think my injector is leaking it goes in the shop on 11/13/18.

210,000k. Smarty set to "stock"---better MPG.
Change fuel filters every time I change oil...5000k +/-. Wix or Fleetguard filters.
No engine or trans problems. Only front steering linkage issues.
Love this truck!

218,000 on the odometer and still running strong on the original injectors. have been using a bully dog tuner since 187,000 miles and put a Fass pump on at 194,000 miles.
