Just curious to see who has racked up the most miles so far on these new trucks! I have 17k after almost a year and a half (ya, the duallys are a pain in the ass to drive everywhere)Oo.

22,900 miles since 5/20/03. No problems except clutch starting to get noisy and alternator bracket developing a crack.

I dont drive too many places. I bought my 04 on Nov 10th and have made 2 round trips to Chico Calif from Grants Pass (525) round trip and several to Medford. I now have a grand total of 3200miles! Thats a thousand a month. Counting any vacation traveling, that should put me right around 100,000 miles in 7 years should I still own it. With the Free every 3000 mile lube oil filter changes and the zero deduct D/C warranty, Im all set!

had mine 4 months yesterday and I am about 100 miles shy of 8K. That makes about 2K a month not bad in my books.

Looks like over all CTD owners LOVE to drive I know I do and want to take my truck anywhere we go. I know some people that buy a new truck then say no its new I dont want to get that many miles on it can we take your truck tonight. Ohwell guess thats why I bought the CTD so I could drive everyone around like they did me the past couple of years when I was havin all the car trouble before my new Ram. :D

JWillms,

Looks like you and I are in about the same boat, I got mine in late Oct. , the last week and just went over 8k last week. Love to drive it everywhere. And most of the time, I drive with the radio off, just to hear that Cummins hummin'. My dad loves to drive it too. He takes it when I am on a work trip and leave it at his house for him. I figure it's better off being driven, than sitting for three weeks at a time. I think he drives it more than he drives his own truck, when I am out. Especially since I told him I am not worried about the mileage. And I know he won't be beating on it.
