Time for trany up-grade/rebuild

This may blow your minds, but I have a whopping 475 miles on my DTT setup. :-laf

No problems here, hope to get at least twice that trouble free;)

I did the DTT install on both mine, and my fathers CTD,mine at 50K,now has 65K,those are hard, plowing, towing, and streetracing miles,it has beem excellent. My dad's we put in at 7K miles,it now has 25K on it,its been flawless and he does not baby it at all,and has over 300hp,and tows. The trans was the single best place we spent money on our trucks, hands down.

I have just turned 40,000 miles with Bill's setup. ( Original transmission went 92,000) Shop in TX did the work with Bill's guidance. Using the 89% pulling a 36 5'er most of that mileage and still not a single transmission problem.

Only have 6000 miles but lovin every second of it. :)

transmission performs flawlessly. 89% TC and Livestock VB

I've been debating going to the Smartcontroller as well but not yet. ;)

We have about 7K on our DTT upgraded transmission so far. It doesn’t get driven near enough, but when we do, it’s either hauling and or towing something. I love it. We were out in the desert this past week with temps around 115 F, up and down grades and the transmission stayed less than 190 F easily. (usually about 160 F). Love passing those rice burners on the grades. We took a vacation up in the Pacific Northwest and went across the border and had Bill and family/friends do the job. The experience was memorable and highly recommended. It was probably the best performance modification we have done to the truck. Highly recommended.

Had problems with mine right at the start, But since then I have learned what taking care of a customer realy means. I now have somewhere over 6k wonderful miles and like everyone else my power has increased

Thanks JD & Bill and family

Update,on my dad's truck,36K now,30K since mods, the truck is flawless,he has towed heavy motorcycles all winter in Fla. We re going to pull it out and out and install billet input shaft so we can run the smart controller. My truck plowed all winter, one of the northeasts worst winters, about 275 hrs worth of back and forth, hard pushing. I did pull the trans this spring, after snapping an output shaft, just to check things out,all was good. I have literally flogged my truck/trans and recently ran a 12. 30,and 12. 26 back to back. I dont know my hp now, since i havent dyno'd yet,but I know its a lot.

40K now, in that time I've gone from 250 HP to around 600 HP, I've changed the base line pressure, 1-2, 2-3, and TV springs to compliment the power mods, pan is still clean as always, can't say enough about the transmission as I'm not real easy on it!

I have 57K miles on the DTT stuff and a total of 93K on the transmission. I usually keep the power to the rear wheels at 290 hp and 600 lbs of torque. Sometimes more if I have to.
