I rolled over 153k in my 04. 5 today, just curious what other's mileage looked like. All seems to still be running well:D

If it was a PSD I'd be scheduling my overhaul;)

Wow, thats some intense windshield time. I am at 51k here in the Rocky Mountains. Zero problems so far. You high mileage guys should list repairs so us low mileage guys know what to look forward to. Thanks

Miles

:)

Wow, that's a lot of covered pavement!!! On another note, with the horsepower increases of the new CTD, is it still possible to hit the million mile club, or is longevity compromised in todays trucks?

just curious TX,

A little over 12k a month. It's usually running wide open. I've got a couple of drivers now so the mileage will fall WAY off this year, but I still live a good clip from work:)

Repairs:

16k - new ignition

51k - new driver seat back due to lumbar support breakage

67k - new tires

89k - transfer pump took a dive

125k - rear caliper seized due to crushed brake line, all pads changed at this point (pretty damn good for factory pads!)

146k - Pilot bearing fail led to input shaft failure, transmission rebuilt, new clutch installed.

I'm getting ready to pull the stock manifold and turbo off due to both pieces being cracked. Also getting ready to replace the tires again, can't complain about almost 90k out of a set. Michelins FYI.

I think that's it. I noticed my powersteering fluid was low this week, not sure if it's all of the sudden or just small leak that's been going on for awhile.

Numerous reflashes as well.

TX, when did you take delivery of your truck? Obviously a little over a year ago if you're averagine 12k/month.

My road trip that racked up 9000 miles in 3 weeks seemed like a lot of driving. Obviously you do that every month of the year

I also forgot, my sway bar mounting bolt busted - I'll have to get pics, I'm not sure how it happened, but I heard a loud *ping* and the round ball popped out of the socket and hit my upper a-arm. Used to be a $5 part now it's $100:(

67. 5 k on mine as of now, add another 4k for an upcoming trip in 2 weeks. Most of these miles towing 16-20 k#!

Just had my 60K Schedule B service. I'm off on another 4K mile trip on Tuesday. To date, no problems, none, nada!

All miles are towing other than the occasional trips to HomeDepot... OK, frequent trips to HomeDepot! :)

Wow! I thought I was bad: 24k miles at 10 months-old! All I do is drive to work in it... no commercial usage or towing yet.

Should be @ 160k by end of month. Lift pump, inj pump, rear diff, yoke seal, turbo. all while warranty was still in effect. Oo.

I'm not an 04, I'm an 03, 2 yrs old on Feb. 14th, mileage now at 204k+. A few problems but not much considering what I do with it. I am hoping Dodge comes out with a 4500 and 5500 series before much longer.

210K, 03 went on rd. Jan. 2nd 03, its been a real good trk. , lp went at 198. 5K, drove it for 1377 mi. with 0 fuel press. , new lp fixed it right up, no problems since. It will be taking a break for a while, as I have some health problems, but will be back on the rd. in a few months!!
