How much noise do you want your diesel truck to make?

Magnetic. Thank you. Its actually been something Ive pondered. If it was weight triggered it wouldnt work well in the winter in AK. I always wondered about the bike thing. All in all a stop light is a glorified stop sign. Id fight it in court if I got a ticket for a light that didnt change in a reasonable amount of time.

I actually fight all traffic tickets. Have the local record for the longest traffic trial in history. 7 hours for an unsafe stop. :p If you take it to court they will usually give you a lesser charge or offer the class if youve been a good boy. Well worth the time. I wish everybody fought their tickets. I make the local PD earn their fines. They been real bad money grubbers lately. Ive read many books on the subject and mostly its just to generate income for the department. Insurance companies love it too cause they can charge you more. Did you know? That statistically people who drive 10 mph over get in less accidents. They are more alert than the 55 crowd that are putting on their makeup and eating breakfast. Probably cause they are watching for cops. ;)

The traffic lights malfunction so much here in Pasco I have the utilites number on my speed dial. I am calling those guys all the time. Whenever they have a loop fail they call a contractor in to do the repair. Takes WEEKS to get the job done!!!

I have driven through many lights here because they're always non-respondent.

And don't get me going on the left turn lights!! Pasco is Left Turn Light Happy and have them on every blooming intersection no matter how insignificant it is!!! Even at peak rush hour there isn't enough traffic on the side streets to justify a left turn light!!! And guess what turn loops are always shorting out and making the light think someone is there 24/7 and holding EVERYONE else up all day? The left turn one of course!!!

Los Angeles is starting to install Red-Light cameras, which take a photo of whoever runs the light and issues an automatic $300 ticket. Most of the cameras are actually in the lower income immigrant neighborhoods, because that is where most of the Red-Light running accidents have occurred. This upset the ACLU until the Police released the statistics.

I never ran red lights until just last year. I started doing it, only late at night, and only if absolutely NO ONE was in sight. I still feel a little guilty about it.
