.50 cal ricochet,

looking for a movie, don't know title, HELP!

I used to fish when I was much younger, before I didn't know life was complicated and busy. I have begun to get back into freshwater fishing these past two years, mostly pond hopping around my area ( which are friggen loaded with good sized large mouths). I occasionally go to a few larger lakes around here, deep creek when I get a chance but its a little bit of a hike to get there. When I go up to New Hampshire in the summer for a week or two I usually go for freshwater perch or small mouth, we got an old cottage on Lake Sunapee, NH. Just wondering if theres a lot of guys on here who enjoy fishing as much as I do.

Leaving the office this afternoon to go fishing. My parents have a little trailer with an add-on room on a private lake. Three weeks ago my wife and sister caught a 32lb flat head catfish on a jug. The next week my wife caught a 4. 5lb cat. There next door neighbor has 3 large mouth over 11lbs in the last two weeks. I have caught a few smaller bass. Also love to hunt birds.

Me and my Dad, now that he is retired, make our crappie fishing trips a monthly thing now. Got a 18 incher this spring right before the spawn started, and yes, I released her;) 18 inch crappie in MO are like 18 lb largemouths, a once in a lifetime thing. I did get several pictures and a plaque in the tournament we were fishing for largest crappie. (it was bigger than all the bass entered too) :-laf

Also went trout fishing in CO last week, weather was perfect, 85-95 in the day and about 45 at night. This was at 10,800 ft though...

I do almost all my fishing right here.

Nothing like walking 100' out the back door and catching dinner. Crappie, Bass and Bluegill abound in this 3/4 acre piece of paradise in my back yard.

Best dang Walleye fishin all around the area here. About the best to eat too. No fishy taste like trout and salmon ect. :p

I enjoy fishing very much but its hard finding the time to do it. I like all kinds of fishing, mostly trout and largemouth. Fixing to start making more time to do it. :-laf

Around here I usually just hunt for large mouth, not to much else freshwater in my area to go for but they are sure fun to fish. Purely catch and release, one pond I am frequently fishing has some hidden monsters that I have seen but never can get em to hit. I usually use bass jigs, spinner baits and buzz baits. Two of the ponds around here were dredged out and made larger about 4 - 5 years ago, they made them deeper (about 20 - 30 feet in the middle) and even dug catfish holes (or so they say). They also put like 4 or 5 large trees in the middle to try and give a nice early habitat for the bass. Its a fun time, seems when I go out fishing all my worries go away for a little while. Great times.

Rivers mostly..... from the bank or from the sled.

Bigger lakes are cool... ... ... not much into small water fishing, if the boat isn't moving around much it gets kinda boring. LOL

I grew up in Queenstown MD. We had very little money for food so my dad ran fish nets and eel pots in a inlet off the bay. Crabing and clams on the weekends.

I ended up in the desert and had to adjust to fresh water fishing. A number of years ago I bought a camper and boat and we go to the lakes when ever we can, fishing for bass, crappie, and catfish.

Now it is just for relaxation. My idea of fishing now is with a worm on the hook and bobber, layed back in the seat with a cold one looking at the clear star filled sky and not having a worry in the world. - Well, maybe one. I can't float in fresh water.

I went out fishing for the first time this year yesterday with my ex gf (who by the way can out fish any man I know)and it was the most fun Ive had all summer to date! And for those that know me... . yes all we did was fish! We caught some rainbow trout and a few brown trout and we threw back our biggest catch of the day but the day was rewarding because like was mentioned... stress just dissappears when you take some time to have fun! I own a cabin in way north MN that I havent even went to this year but Im gonna plan on taking off next week just to go up and fish now. Now that I think about it I think Ill go fishing for a few hours yet tonight in my backyard!
