1. Your Mill rate

2. Your book value

What is your mill rate by the way... . Mine is 32. 5 :(

Hey Mac, my millrate is 31, my 96 2500 4x4 slt was valued at $12,700

Maryland has no prop taxes on vehicles. They get you for 5% sales tax when you title it - even if you are bringing it in from out-of state unless you show that at least 5% was paid by you to another state.

Thereafter it is about $25 per year to register.

They make it up on real estate and income tax. Real estate tax figures to be about . 6% per year of value (don't know exact mil rates or appraisal percentages).

Income tax is another story - works out to be about 50% of the fed tax.

Here in New Hampshire we only have a registration fee based on the value of the car. If new you get wacked on the 1st year and then it declines to $40/yr after 5 years.

Other than that, NH has no ... . income tax or sales tax, and the only property tax is on your land/home. Thats it ... ...

Don't come to Florida, We have sink holes that suck up cars, trucks, and houses. Even roads. Then we have BIG OL GATORS that like kids, dogs, and adults too. Go swimming in the Gulf to feed the sharks. They have to eat too.

Something to thing about.
