How many rpm can a 24 valve turn without heavier springs?

I have seen 4k with stock cam and springs.

I was told i could send my tst back to have it reflashed so my truck would turn 4k but i figured that would send parts flying. i know ive had my truck to 3300-3500 once or twice but it seemed that was all it would do.



I guess what i meant to ask is can it be done safely(stock cam and springs)? Without flinging parts through the hood?

Yes i have customer thats running one of those TST. With you stock turbo it be hard to go all the way to 4k. The super stock 62 should help look into a fluidampr at that rpm. I posted some pictures tonight of a stock dampr reving to 4k the stock cast dampr will not live long. Also you need a free flowing air filter not a paper filter.

Will the fluidampr work with the rasp pump? Do you know if there are anymore differences in the tst comp verses the 4k tst?

I just got off the phone with TST and the lady asked Mark about it and he said they do NOT have anything like that and its not even the the plans.
