rottndogue;

If your first rig was a '70s, you must still be young!

My first was a 1940 Chev,(bought in 1950, for $415. I was earning $. 75 per hour in a grocery store, and thought I was "walking in tall cotton"), then

1947 Buick,

1952 Pontiac

(this could get too long)

Most interesting was a 1963 Saab; three cylinder 2stroke, it was a fun car to drive, and had only 7 moving parts in the engine. There were no valves, just ports in the cylinder walls. Big drawback was the weekly plug cleanings.

On our 5th truck. Of the 5, the last 4 were diesel powered and the last 3 were Cummins Diesel powered.

That's not counting all the truck based other vehicles we have had, Bronco 4X4, Suburban, Travelall, Scout, etc.
