Engine/Transmission (1998.5 - 2002) How much boost?

Ok, I've read some threads on this but can't find one that has the answer I'm looking for. So what is the optimum amount of boost for an 01 HO 6spd with a bully dog 70 hp chip? It seems to have more low end tq if I leave it around the 20 psi but that may just be my imagination. TIA

However much boost it takes to keep egt's safe but not too cool is where the optimum level is attained. If the truck will smoke continuously at full throttle you don't have enuff.
