Engine/Transmission (1998.5 - 2002) How much can I gain from getting more boost ?

'99 stock truck, see signature, Van Aaken on it's way.



I can partially close wastegate hose to get more boost (28lbs max), do I gain something or ECM starts to defuel immediately passed 20lbs, and I just get extra boost but less fuel ?



When I'll install the VAaken will it help fueling more ?



Last thing... can somebody tell me which thread has instruction for Radio Shack (homemade) boost fooling device ?

The Van Aaken I believe comes with a boost elbow for you to install on your turbo, this will allow extra boost (and is a much better solution than a turnbuckle). The box also adds extra fuel so the increased boost will help to burn this... ...
