All right, this is the last time I will ask this, I promise! ;)

This time I would like EVERYONE'S OPINION!! :D (enthusiastic, not yelling)

I would like to know:

  • Do you like your 370s? Why?

  • What happened to your mileage?

  • How smooth are they compared to stock injectors?

  • Is there a constant haze behind you in other car's headlights?

  • Are they really that smokey?

  • Would you get them again, or go for some DD3s, or something else? Why?

Thanks a bunch for your help! :D

Love em.

+ 45 HP. (on my stock truck)

After the initial excitement wore off (stopped flooring it) mileage was within . 25 mpg from before. I dont have a meter on my fueling station, I'd say probibally the same.

Slightly more choppy. Not annoying or anything.

Haze..... I'm running off road fuel. I always have a slight haze behind me. :D:p

They smoke more than stock when you get on it. In my case, you werent going to block the sun out or anything. I see you have mods though.....

I'd get them again. You could get the 370's and the delivery valves for about the same price as the DD3's. You'd be makin mo power too!!

No regrets here.

Eric

love em!

why? they gave my baby aot more BALLS!

my mpg? actually went up 1. 5 even on winter fuel.

how smoothe? quieter and smoother !

is there a constant haze? NO. same control as the 215's

are they really that smokey? With my HX35/16 and my foot floored Oh YEAH! black dishraggs:D

But now with the PDRHX40 only a gray haze no mater how hard i push it!

Would i buy another set? YES im gonna get a spare set from Piers very soon!

Chris i really recomend you concentrate on fuel to air ratio for more power and the 370's are req to get the fuel. but dont forget the AIR!!!

My rig is similar to The Patriot's an Pthomas's and I concur.

Why? Best bang for the buck, injector-wise and endorsed by Joe D. and Piers.

Mileage - no appreciable difference.

Smoothness - just as smooth as stock.

Haze - a little, but I'm conservative on my plate position (that will change very soon, now that the clutch has been replaced and I'm putting in a GSK this weekend).

Smokey - you can make them do that (plate, afc, air intake, etc. )

Do it again - for the price, especially when Piers has them on sale, you bet.

Chris-

I installed the Piers 370's, 3k governor & med afc springs a couple of months ago and wonder why I waited so long. The truck is really fun to drive with the increase power & rpm range but unfortunately my mileage has suffered. It has dropped about 1. 5 mpg but this is probably due to a heavier right foot.

The truck doesn't smoke during normal cruising but will leave a haze or a puff of smoke if I try to accelerate quickly before the boost comes on.

My only issue I'm trying to work out is a stumble that I have around 1750 to 1900 rpm's. I'm really not sure if this is due to the 370 injectors or the governor kit? This weekend I'm going to install the high flow delivery flows to see if this will help smoothen everything out.

Hopefully this info will help

I really like mine! No haze, no stumble, smooth idle and fuel milage is the same if not a little better. The truck seems to smoke less than the 215s at part throttle, but she pours the smoke when you stand on it. The only drivability differance I have noticed is the the truck has a rump rump rump to it when I first start in the morning and goes away in less then a minute. The throttle is alot more touchy also.

Chris:

Like all the other members I LOVE MY Piers 370's!!!

1. ) Mileage- My mileage went from about 18 to 17. 5

in town.

2. ) Smoothness- I noticed NO DIFFERENCE in how

the truck runs. It has ALOT MORE

power than it did before I put them in.

No "stumble" or miss at any speed or

throttle position, smooth idle.

3. ) Smoke- Driving easy around town or on the highway

I have very little if any noticeable smoke.

When the truck is cold I do have a slight

blue/gray haze but as soon as the truck

warms up it goes away. During moderate

acceleration I will get a gray/black haze.

Under heavy acceleration I have heavy

black smoke which will cease if I let off the

throttle. But, if I "stay in it" it will smoke

almost continually. My "Piers modified HX-40"

seems to have reduced the smoke somewhat.

I would DEFINITELY buy these injectors again!! The

price has come down since I bought mine. I think they

are definitely "the best bang for the buck!"

Hope this has helped you Chris!

Yea, what he said. I dont see it as touchy, it just has the power right off idle.

You wont regret it.

Eric

PS It gets you to start thinking.....governor spring kit. :D

Do you like your 370s? Why?

More power.

What happened to your mileage?

Stayed the same when I quit hotrodding it.

How smooth are they compared to stock injectors?

Cant tell any difference

Is there a constant haze behind you in other car's headlights?

No

Are they really that smokey?

Not at all unless you are "on it", big honkin air filter helped this a lot.

Would you get them again, or go for some DD3s, or something else? Why?

I would do it again in a minute, very cheap horsepower and brand new injectors are the bonus.

Chris tonite was my youngest Birthday and I just got back in. Call me tomorrow after 4:30. i'll be sitting at my desk wait for my night students to get there at 6PM.

Chris, Sorry I missed you agian. I was in the middle of my night school class when you called last night. I have alot going this weekend I'll try and call you sunday afternoon.

Better late than never. Been busy the last couple days installing Con-O and Firestone air bags. Very happy with the 370s. Little stumble at 1300 rpm but delivery valves are on the way. With #8 plate and the 370s, mileage may have actualy gone up. Getting 18-19 mpg everyday driving. Haven't gone on a trip yet. Didn't hurt it for sure. Short story, the other day had to put the truck on a lift to replace muffler. Kinda hard to describe the lift, but you pull the front tires up on the lift and when they hit a stop plate, a section of the lift starts to slide foreward with the front end. Anyway, everytime I would run into the stop, it refused to slide, I'm sure the weight of the front end. The guys working there kept telling me to hit it harder. No go. Then they said, leave the clutch out when you hit and let her go. Let the clutch out at idle and when the front tires hit the stop, no go again, but she sit there and made rubber piles behind the back tires, still idleing and didn't even pull the engine down. They said " What the hell you got under the hood of that thing?" Guess its a good thing I didn't use four wheel drive.
