How much does your truck weigh?

6615 around the E on fuel, and minus spare with alum. driveshaft. Light is might, guess I should get get going with the hole saw...

Just weighed today on a certified, fully-calibrated scale. 7260 lb with 5/8 tank of fuel and no one in the cab (not even me).



That's a lot of steel and iron...

8750 with 57gals of diesel, 2 passengers, B&W Turnoverball Hitch with Companion 5th Wheel, bed liner, roll top cover, and a few tools.

8440#, full tank, Pull-Right hitch, fairly light tool box and a 80# Golden Retriever. No one else in truck. This was on the CAT Scale in Sturbridge, MA 08/05/2003. I doubt if the truck has lost any weight since then and the dog may have gained a pound or two

It sounds like the 3rd gens could use a diet. My old school 2nd gen weighs around 6400 with 1/2 a tank of fuel and me inside at 200lbs. Maybe the extra weight makes the newer trucks quieter.

8900 with full fuel, me (175) and maybe a hundred pounds of gear, have full length stull stainless steel running boards(truck and bed boards) and a Rhino lined long bed.
