Obviously, I would like to see some "true" weights for my configurations as I have not had my truck weighed yet, but in addition, I would also like to see the weights of the different configurations for comparison. Yeah, yeah, this all goes back to who can support the heaviest slide-in campers. I think this is the only aspect where the mighty Cummins counts against you.

My 'lil blue Ram is a featherweight. It weighs in at:

3750lbs front axle
2525lbs rear axle
6275 total.
8800 Posted GVWR

Nothing in truck, and 2/3 tank of fuel. That was before I ripped out the muffler and resonator, the overload springs, and debadged the body, so now it probably weighs right around 6200, making me legal to haul about 2600 pounds #ad

99 QC SB 4x4 SLT Cummins, 5spd, most options.
6580lbs total, 3980frt, 2600rr, with full fuel tank. 8800GVWR as shown on door sticker. Weighed on certified truck scales.
 
well let's see mine with 3/4 tank of fuel and 5th hitch, mine was 7300.

On the state scales with me, full tank and pretty much stock:
Front = 4200
Rear + 2650
Total = 6850

Now after adding aluminum running boards, rubber bed mat, front mount receiver, husky floor liners and a dog = 7005 @ the dump.

GVWR = 8800 on the door sticker.

The Bigfoot 3000 10. 11 Slide-In Camper that I am looking at weighs 3280-lbs. I have not weighed the truck yet, but I sure want to keep it under the GVWR of 11,000-lbs. In addition it would be nice to have a little buffer so that I could bring my wife.

Mine scales in at 8980lbs. My bed has 4 hydraulic cylinders in it and a lot of steel.

My 99 3500 Quad cab loaded for the road With a cab high shell towing a 35ft avion comes
to 17720 lbs The truck weight is 7020lbs.
The truck is maxed out with camper packages
Load range E tires from the factory and can
tow up to 14500lbs and still be ok. The transmission
is a 5 Speed (you could not get a 6 Speed in early 99)with 4:rearend The way my truck takes to the hills I don,t 20000lbs would slow it down,and its been out west. Denver The
Springs.
 
Mine weighs 7100 with a full tank of fuel, the GVWR is 8800.

Mine weighed in at 7500 at the pulls tonight. That is with the tool box full of tools and a full tank of fuel.

Hi, since the question included 'slide-in campers', I'll have to add my stats...

y2k 3500 4x4, auto, brush guard, camper package, towing package, Air-Lift Air Bags... . scale weight 7720 pounds... .

Added to that a fully loaded Lance 1130 camper, 15 gallons of propane, 40 gallons of potable water, solar panel, satellite dish... etc. , the camper weighs in at 3800 pounds...

Posted GRVW is 11,000. The total package weights in at 12,800 pounds.

When carrying the camper, we run the tires at 70 all around and 70 psi in the air bags.

We have the Plug & Power box and get 14. 8 mpg on the highway (doing the speed limit). Without the camper, the truck gets 18. 5 mpg on the highway.
