How much does your truck weigh?

I have weighed my truck on two different scales and got 2 very different readings. I was wondering if any of you other guys have weighed your truck and if so, what did it weigh? I just wanted to get a ballpark estimate of what my truck should weigh before I find a 3rd scale to put it on.

BTW, my truck is a 3/4 ton 4wd.

Only had my truck on 1 scale. 7300lbs with me and a canopy on.

just went across the scales at a certified scale... my '01 3500 with 70 gals of fuel and tool box combo with a bunch of tool in it was 8740 lbs.

Mine is a dually.

But the two scales I have been across showed me at 7450 with a half a tank of fuel. No cap on the truck. No one inside. I have aluminum rims on all four corners so that will knock some more off.

6160 lbs with a camper shell and 30 gallons of fuel.

Weighed once, 6,500 with no one inside. Can't remember how much fuel I had... Aluminum rims, ~150 lb. toolbox, gooseneck & HD receiver hitches.

Weighed mine 2 times one was with me in it and that is it and it was 6450# and the second was with some junk in the back and it was 6550#. both were at some local pulls. I did not bad for what i got . A joke stroke won bu I got 7 out of 11 and beat a 02 HO. so not bad.

My '92 W350 4X4 ext. cab weighed just a shade under 7100 lbs. with aprox. 45 gallons of fuel on board, no load and me not in it. I love to look at the kid gettin' ready to pull out in front of me in the lowered import and think "Son, do you have any idea what over 7000 lbs of US steel is gonna do to that 2100 lb beer can you're drivin'?!"

mine was 6950 w350 dually,s/c,auto 4x4

5900 lb.

Mine weighed in at 5900 lb. with 25 gal fuel. With 180 lb of driver.



I'm not terribly convinced at the accuracy of the scales. However, it is possible. I have the real skinny tires on mine, and they probably weigh about 15 lb less then others each.



BTW, W250, reg cab, getrag. empty long box.

Took a a load of scrap to the scrapyard and on the way out I poked my head into the scale booth to see what my truck weighed. W250 reg cab long box empty except for ~150 lb of tools and almost a full tank of fuel was 6020 lbs without me in it.
