How Much Fluid?

OK!!! How much fluid to change the 10. 25" rear and 9. 25 front differentials?

OHH Yeah and How hard is it to change the front pinion seal? I need to do that tooo... ( Again, it seems they only last about 45,000miles)

I used about 6. 5 quarts of oil to change front and rear on mine just a couple weeks ago. My rear diff is the 11. ? Not sure about the your other problem,,, anyone else???

Just changed mine this weekend. I think if you fill completely

to the bottom of the hole, they hold a little more that the listed

capacities.



My rear (11") took about 4. 5 quarts.

My front took about 2. 5 quarts.

you should have the 11. 5" rear end as you have a manual trans. i believe the only CTD trucks with the 10. 5" are the SO models with automatic trans...

The tag inside the glovebox on mine shows the size of both differentials. . Take a look there if you haven't. .
