Yikes! I'm a little over the $5500 part. That is Canadian though! But I still had to work for the money. Sad part is my wife knows how much I spend, and spends just as much in her garden. Oh well, it is a compromise.

Greater than 13k???? I need a new catagory... WAY TFO 13k!!!!  LOL

He!!, I've spent over 2. 5k in the past month!!!! A new replacent fuel tank, a new set of mirrors and ______ _______ all cost big buck$.

..... who knows, maybe with a few more modifications I might just have a Ram that will suit my taste perfectly.

W2MP2L, I like the PSD. It will out run my Dodge even at the power level it was. My truck was slower than normal considering the mods, but it was heavy and had bad gearing. Do I think my truck will out run every Cummins on the road (like some people do)? Heck no. But I still like the spacious cab and it's quiet so I can enjoy that high dollar audio/video system I'm going to install.

$90 so far

For muffler removal and window tint. $2000 planned for gauges, comp, inj, and clutch. Of course there'll be a few thou in radio equipment, but I already own that.

I got her used- so somebody else spent the $ on: toolbox, bedrails, rail caps, bed liner, air deflector on hood and a big Texas Cow Catcher.

And the stock wheels are Al. :D

nice try Gary :-laf :-laf :-laf

For whatever reason, I can't get to the page that will let me post my results, so I'll mention it here. I think I'm right around the $10K range, but I am including my bed liner, nerf bars,... ... ..... everything I've done, basically.

Tom

$15. 50 - Changed the Stock Block Letter "Dodge" on the tailgate to an Old-English Script for $10. 00, and $5. 50 for the postage to one of our fellow TDR members (Rob) for the badges from his truck. Removing the silencer ring and drilling holes in the stock air box and putting my AFI (Allied Forces Italy) License Plate on the front didn't cost anything.

I can't afford much more than that.

It's not letting me vote? I can tell you I am going to spend in the next year and a half... Well that's the plan anyway... . about 4 maybe 5 times what I've spent so far... .

I think I've spent less than $1500, but my truck came pretty much as it is. BUT, now here comes a new transmission, so my expeditures will rise significantly!

This is NOT healthy for the bank account. :{

My wife has found a novel way to keep me from spending so much on the CTD - she is letting me bring home a 1953 IH R-110 that is too  to pass up. The only problem is that the Dodge is red and now the IH is originally red. Gonna have to paint something a different color. :D

labor rates

For tax purposes, yes. Well that and the "Gee, Honey look how much I saved" category.

Because if you don't do the install, you WILL be adding somebody's labor rate.
