WOW..... that is a big and expensive question. Many on this site spend huge amounts of money on their trucks and other vehicles I suppose. WHY??? Because it's fun!! At least thats my answer. I love working on trucks and modifying things. Well at least I love working on MY truck and other cars, not that crazy about working on other peoples stuff. Usually because most others are always spending more energy trying to save a nickle, then caring about doing the job right, the first time.



I am also a nut for records, I enjoy keeping detailed records for everything I own. I can recall every accessory, oil change and even tank of fuel i purchased since ownership. I do it for all my vehicles, and enjoy it.



My 1997 3500 was ordered on 05-12-96. Took possession on 10-14-96, and have enjoyed it ever since. 2003 was a good year I spent around 16,000. 00 on parts and pieces including ATS stage 4, buckstops, Alcoa wheel ans tires, exhaust system and so on. 2004 was fun but not so expensive, I sprung for around 11,000. 00 that year. So far 2005 has been my lightest year, but thats only because I have several Irons in the fire, and they are all expensive. But I am enjoying all the new doodads from years past. Since I bought the truck I have spent I have spent a very well recorded $43,714. 06. No regrets, I have enjoyed every last red cent. Oh..... After the new garage and some other business ventures get going, I have plenty of ideals for new projects.

heck i have spent about 2200 so far this month. 1200 for vp44, 165 for lift pump. about 140 for new rear wheel bearings. 200 for custom exhaust. 500 for 4 new tires. still need the other two. needs ball joints at 300 my cost for parts.



earlier this year 300 for injectors, like 350 for gauges, and 50 for a used boost fooler. so for the year so far about 3000. and im sure there will be more when money allows.

I did the math about a week ago. Started as a DRW, bombed it. Unbombed it. Met Kroeker, SRW it. Then Kore came into play. Since then I have had 2 sets of wheels, four sets of tires, three sets of springs, two sets of leaf packs, two bumpers, Turbo and motor crap, three exhausts and a fourth sitting on the garage floor, three pairs of front shocks, more to come, three sets of rear shocks,( mind you that some of the shocks cost $750 each ) fiberglass, more performance stuff, more lights, stereo, and the list still changes daily. I am a sick man that has a $40K truck that would be worth over $60K easy. Dealer said that they will give me $21K for it. Yea OK jackask!!!!! I think I'll keep her... ... . Is this a contest that we don't even know about?
