How much HP- Ft/lbs am I making??

Trying to get some numbers on a package I am putting together. 01', DDII's, Edge Comp, Super B Turbo, BD pusher, AFE, 4" exhaust and DTT transmission. How much at the ground and how much at the motor? Thanks... . I'm a newbie

I'm equiped close to yours and at May Maddness put down 416hp. No torque numbers though.

I'm thinking closer to 395H. P. - maybe a little bit less than that... .

I think you should be in the 410 to 420hp range. I dynoed a setup virtually identical to what your listing (except an Hx40 turbo).

910 big bore Polaris twin(Struthers) on Nitrous... twins pipes, 48mm carbs, head, reeds and lite weight everything... Holz suspension front and rear with Fox Float shocks, rolled chain case, u-cooler, Boss seat, 159x2. 4" track and much more

Sounds like a nice package, might I suggest DD3's or Mach 3/4's. Everyone ends up wanting a little more in the end :-laf

Anyhow the truck should be 380-90 RWHP with a set of 2's. That turb should handle every ounce of fuel thrown at it.

The Floats work real well, just take a little work toget them dialed in... . plus they weigh alot less then regular springs.

That's what I feel- around that 390 number with the DD2's- Step up with the DD3's or better then he'll see that 420 number... ... ... .

I assumed you already had the setup your asking about since it's in your sig. If you are still in the shopping stage, it would probably be good if you listed how you use the truck and what your hoping to accomplish with it. It's so much cheaper to get what your after the first time around.



If you haven't made your mind up on which injectors to go with, i firmly believe the f1 "mach" series that Don M makes are the best available.



As for your original question, i guess hp depends a lot more on the individual truck then i thought.



I did 408hp at muncie in 03 with nothing but dd2's, an edge comp and an afe intake. (yup stock exhaust with muffler and hy35, stock fuel system, etc. )



A while later at kauffmans i made 415 with the addition of a 4" exhaust.



With an hx40, fass and going from a standard comp to a drag comp i made 454 (or 464, i need to check the dyno sheet) on DD2's.



Injector only numbers witht the HY35 and stock exhaust were 268 and with the hx40 about a year later i made 272hp.

I got mine from Olee Poole @ Power by Poole. The specs say 130hp but every post I've read said they put out more with less smoke then my DDIIIs @ 100hp. I'll be putting my DDIIIs up for sale (cheap) after I finish my head work. You can do a search on F1 Mach 1-7 and find info about Don M. I think he is the one who makes the most EDM injectors. I could be wrong but I know he made mine.

Want to upgrade turbo... looking at HTB2 and HTBG. Also Super B... what works nest with my set-up? Leaning towards the HTBG for what I have and can always upgrade if I go with bigger injectors.
