Is there an after market or OEM longer pitman arm for lifted trucks?

I currently have the TST #8 plate, timing at 15*, and a K&N filter. What kind of Hp increase will I see if I install 370 injectors and what will it do to my EGT's. I drive my truck light most of the time but I do tow an 11,000 lb. fifth wheel at least once a month.

My truck is stock and Piers said it would add 40- 45 HP. (I forget which he said)

The way your truck is, I'd say you should get almost double that.

370's

Was told that they would add about 50-55 RWHP. They will increase your smoke out put dramaticaly! Might want to keep and eye on your EGT's when pulling that 11k load!

40-50 HP is about what you'll see. But unlike the plate there is an increase throghout the entire RPM range. Smoke is controlable even at my power levels as long as you keep your foot out of it until there is boost to use the fuel.

Try them you'll like um:D

What is the max egt you can get now while pulling?

My setup is similar to drawson's but without the plate and HX40. With the stock plate adjusted about . 040" forward of stock position I can keep my foot on the floor and max egt is 1350 after about 1 min on a hard pull (15,000lb+/6%grade at 60mph+. With your plate and 370's your egt will be a problem. A bigger turbo will help but you will want to watch the pyro closely.

I might suggest the 4Kgov/60lb spring setup first. This will allow you to pull much better with what you have without causing heat problems. Some people are afraid to rev the B up a little but I think it actually runs smoother and better up the rev range a little. It certainly pulls nicely in the mid/upper 2K range. All the Cummins B marine engines cruise in this range. The reason I prefer the 4Kgov over the 3K (I've tried both) is the 3Kgov starts defueling in the upper 2Krpm in order to rev limit at 3Krpm. The 4Kgov allows you to pull strongly in the upper 2Krpm area.

The 370's smoke a bit more than stock, especially when idling cold or stomping on it. After the boost catches up though smoke is no problem.

Just my experience and opinions.
