I think your categories are a little off. 50-100 isn't really wild, just putting them back to what Cummins designed them for.

Just my opinion. :)

There is no such thing as just enough. :)

A fella could really be misled reading all of the bomber posts. I'm a more power guy mysef, but the novices reading these threads are gonna start believing that BOMBing is the norm - - well now, hehehe - - keep writing fellas. ;)

Interesting thread. What I find really interesting is that, so far, about only 1 in 5 bother to (or can?) vote.

Adam, Think you could stop Bombing for a few days and give the rest of us rookies a chance to catch up?

I did notice in your sig that your are starting to bolt on 24V parts! no wonder your HP#'s are so high! :D:p :D

Back to Bombing!!! Later KwikKurt:cool:

I had to vote the no such thing as enough catagory, but I also want this thing to last.

I already have more power then I need:D, but almost as much as I want :D

Horsepower Junkie

I don't know, You tell Me!

My Dodge 3500 has the power of a semi.

One of my snowmobiles has a turbo on it 210 hp 135 lb torque, the other has pipes reeds and porting producing 172 hp.

My 2000 Transam has a Vortech supercharger and other bolt on parts producing 470 hp with only 1800 miles on it.

My 73 Camaro Rally Sport runs 9. 3 ET and 150 mph quarter mile and is streetable, producing 850 hp.

The new engine and transmisson combo will push it in to the high 8s.

My Craftsman garden tractor Kohler V-Twin makes 32 hp, with pipe, jetting, timing, and govoner work.

My Honda Forman 450 makes 28 hp with pipe jetting modified air box.

I guess I just can't leave anything alone!!

All kidding aside there is a limit to what our drivetrains can handle long term so choose wisely.

I feel 350 hp can be very reliable long term if you follow my recommendations on Proper order for upgrading your 12 valve or ISB.
