Well said! I think the leaders in our House and Senate figure it's in their best interest, politically, to let the entire economy go south -- and if it won't do it on it's own, to help it along, surreptitiously of course. No fingerprints.



What happens to you and yours is of little import to them. . They just want to manipulate themselves into even more power and entrench themselves a little deeper than ever before...

I don't think it is the politicans, it's more like the Wallstreet traders jacking the price up and the price of crude is also pushed higher by the very weak dollar.



And yes, supply and demand is also to blame. There are a lot of diesel trucks on the road today.



But it is easy to blame politics. We could all drive a Toyoata Prius and save money, but that wouldn't be much fun.



I'll keep buying good old # 2 diesel as long as they keep making it.
