If it's just the engine and nothing else, I'd say $1000-1500, depending on how clean it is, what the turbo and intake look like, manifold shrinkage, inejctor condition (pop testing is a good idea). Hard to tell at idle/ no load what kind of shape the injector pump is in.

I would have paid $1000 for an engine though. That seems about right

I found a 92 higher miles i think at a salvage yard i think it has a warrenty for like $700 pm me if interested. i do not have a use for it but sounded like a good deal .
