Just installed DD2's & with an EZ unloaded I can hit 34+ lbs of boost. My biggest concern is creating too much boost causing problems such as blowing a head gasket... . What do you think? How much boost are you guys seeing?

TIA,

Clay:confused:

With the comp on my truck I can hit 34 lbs on level 5. From what I have heard you won't have any head gasket problems until your boost gets up in the 40 lb range and up. I may be wrong though, won't be the first time.

I ran in excess of 40lbs for some time. No problems. If you have a stock turbo It will do fine below 36lbs. Try not to go any higher than that. Worry more about the turbo and less about the gasket.

I could push easily up to 48lbs. Gaskets start to go at 50. Definitely something needs to be done above 60.

My truck was fine with 38 PSI boost, but as soon as I did some changes and hit 50 PSI boost the head gasket popped very shortly thereafter (less then 1 day).
