it's been dropping by the week around here in baton rouge loserana, slowly but surely it's dropped about a quarter in 3 or so weeks to $2. 749 with premium almost a quarter under that

I think that a big part of the plan is to desensatize us about fuel prices. We get used to $2 fuel then how about we shoot for $3.

My usual Sunoco truck stop, Palisades Park NJ. Prices on Oct 25, Nov 1, and Nov 9

87 - $2. 579 - 2. 419 - 2. 299

89 - $2. 679 - 2. 519 - 2. 399

93 - $2. 759 - 2. 599 - 2. 479

94 - $2. 799 - 2. 639 - 2. 559

diesel - $2. 689 - 2. 599 - 2. 499

Just as I pulled out today, I hear "Wait, wait!". A guy runs up and starts asking me about my truck :D Said he was looking for a rig like mine and loved how mine looked. Said he like Dodges, asked me how much I paid, and said "Looks like I need to get to a showroom!"

Today's $2. 499 is just 2 cents above the pre-Katrina price. And now, I'm on winter mix and have the competition from HHO, so it would actually be a lot less if this was still summer.

At local Murphys, reg. $2. 21, diesel, $2. 49. At Flying J in Orange today, reg. $2. 47, diesel, $2. 37. I bought reg. gas in Beaumont for $1. 94. Kinda makes you wonder don't it? bg

In Lawrence Kansas, prices are at $2. 79, but 5 miles east on the turnpike it is $2. 59. Yep, I'm thrilled the price went down, just like the oil companies want me to be. Anybody see the bonuses the oil ceo's and execs got this year?? In the millions!

Robin

Went down to $3. 09 in Pinedale, Wy today, regular is $2. 47. Went to Hoback Junction south of Jackson Hole Sunday to meet another TDR member, Rob St. John, and $3. 11 with gas @ $2. 18. What a Deal!!!

That has been the way it has gone for the last few years. Chrisis, go up. Chrisis over come down 1/2 and on and on.

This is the first time that I know of that Diesel is more than gas. :( :(

I paid $2. 65 for diesel in South Belloit, IL yesterday. It was $3. 49 at the speedway near my house in Palatine, IL two hours later. Big difference on 30 gallons of fuel - with no sensible explanation for the descrepency in price.

Just fueled up last night at the East Coast station in Opal Virginia.

Rt-29 & Rt-17 near Warranton.

$2. 29 gallon.

Same price at the East Coast station Rt-17 & I-95 in Fredericksburg.
