Test Data for Objectively Selecting Oil Filters

True. I am watching the weather but it usually don't get that cold here. When it gets too cool I will switch to B20

State by State Average Available

Go to the Auto Club site - www.aaanewsroom.net

At the bottom of the column on the left, you will see

a fuel gauge - "Click for Fuel Prices".

Next page click "State by State Average" and you

will get a comparison of all grades of fuel including diesel

for all 50 states.

Claim they have 85 thousand stations reporting.

It's an average - but seems to be pretty accurate, and it's

updated every business day.

So, if you see a diesel price - or prices - lower than the average

for your state when you're out and about,

you may have found a good deal.

[I would think the prices are all for dino fuel]

Was looking thru some old threads for aux tank choices.

Guys were looking for extra (aux) tanks a few years back

'cause diesel was running $1. 30 per gallon!

Last week they had posted that they are importing refined gasoline and that is what's keeping gas prices down, but they're not importing diesel. Not only are they not importing diesel they exported most of the reserves :--) before the hurricanes and now the refineries can't make enough. Therefore our crazy diesel prices.

For some odd reason diesel is now $3. 10 while regular unleaded is $2. 15 here in oklahoma and I live right next to a large refinery.

Was in OKC a week ago yesterday and put $372 of fuel in my Ram in one shot!!! :eek: And still spent another $350 for the rest of the trip. Regular unleaded was $2. 27 at that time. WTH is going on here!! :{

Makes me mad as ... . When i filled up Monday morining it was $3. 15, drove back by that evening, and it dropped by 4 cents, and now they have raised the prices to $3. 34 all in a matter of just 3 days. Diesel used to not jump around like this!!! I have a feeling that it will be worse now that the newest Huricane is around!!! Maybe if we are lucky it will stay below $4. 00/gal. :(

Waaa waaaaa its $$$3. 45 here in golden government republic of California

When California decides to stop sucking water from every surrounding state to support its pampered and wasteful economy, then maybe I'd feel some sympathy for it. We were foolish enough to accept a building contract in Carmichael CA, (sacramento) in 2004, I have never seen a more pathetic and over controlling building authority that could not agree with its own regs from week to week.

Fuel in Dalton. GA a few weeks ago was over $3. 50 gallon, when and if you could find it. We are currently working in Alabama on reconstruction projects from the storms, I have had to wait three days for fuel delivery to the local diesel station on more than one occasion. The only one in town at the time for diesel. At least you can get the fuel to complain about its price.

Holy crap, filled up 2 days ago for 2. 99 a gallon, drove by the same station ( my regular fuel station) and diesel and bio were up to 3. 49!!!!!!! What the hell!.

Oh shouldnt Bio be cheaper than regular #2 since it has 20% renewable sources in it!

Arkansas: $3. 30 $0. 60 higher than regular :(

It actual extents it:

"Today’s announcement extends that penalty relief through Oct. 25, 2005. "
