Attention: TDR Forum Junkies
To the point: Click this link and check out the Front Page News story(ies) where we are tracking the introduction of the 2025 Ram HD trucks.

Thanks, TDR Staff

Test Data for Objectively Selecting Oil Filters

Nebraska: Diesel $3. 39, unleaded $2. 39. Completely rediculous and unjustified :(

Too bad the truckers are mostly all corporate nowadays, a trucker strike like we had years ago might be in order again :D

Sorry, I had my dates mixed up. I just knew we were already past the end date. Did not know it had been extended.

That is a purchase date expiration from what I remember, it will be months after that before they can justifiably start enforcing it again. There is no way to prove that you haven't "had your rig sitting idle due to the fuel increases". I know of many RV folks who park their trucks in the fall and don't move them until late spring at the earliest, they paid for legitimate at truck stops, most of which have no idea what dyed diesel is all about in the first place, who's to say you don't either? ;) get the picture?

Filled up yesterday for $3. 63, regular was $2. 51.

The only excuse that I've been given is that stations are starting to convert to winter blend and that all the #1 is refined in the Gulf Coast. I'd like for someone to tell me when the Gulf refineries will be "caught up".

Anyone else know what's going on?

Been steadily falling here in MD. I filled up yesterday at $2. 69, today it's $2. 60. Guess we are waiting on Wilma.

Its a good thing that ice cream makers like Haagen Das does not respond to changes this way. Can you imagine the commodities traders market spike every 28th day? At least we could offer women substitutes for ice cream. :p

Update: It freakin went up another 20 cents today, that's two days in a row.

It's at $3. 79 a gallon now. Regular gas is around $2. 45 a gallon. :{

It was at $2. 89 here during and just after katrina. Now it is $3. 49 and regular is $2. 47 and they are saying it will be this way for a while. :{

So, what's the bottom line for the future concerning diesel fuel costs? I'm ready to order my new 06 and at . 80c per gallon more here (today $3. 35) for #2, a gasser (I hate to even suggest ) might be a viable option.

I think the higher and fluctuating price of diesel is happening just because that is where the action is right now (hurricanes, heating oil season). If everyone stopped using diesel the gougers would just switch to gasoline. Someone will eventually get their heads out of the sand and see that we are being ripped off big time. bg

Not that's funny! :-laf

The local station is down to $2. 58 today BTW.

Average in San Diego is $3. 19, but I spotted an independent station selling for $2. 99 yesterday. Gas is under $2. 60 I understand at some stations.
