Here is my dilemma. I am almost done with fabbing my front air-ride mounts. I am lifting the entire truck 2" and the front another 1". The fronts are stock height + 3". If I install them without the rears (not started yet) then the front will be nose high.

I can make some smaller spacers to give the front a 1" lift and install those without the rears and run the fronts to see how they ride. Then, I can re-install the fronts with larger spacers when the rear is done.

My question is how high does the front end usually need to go to be level? I was guessing 1" is plenty (make new spacers 2" smaller).

Now, if I run the fronts the way they are I would have to lift the rear possibly 2" to make it sit level.

Of course, I could wait until everything is done and do all four corners at once :)

Well on my truck the 2" leveling spacers brought the front up close to level, but the stock rear was still higher than the front. Unloaded/empty for sure.

I was looking at your photos. how does the wife like fabbing parts in the living room? LOL!! And how you start the TURBO JET!! LOL!!! You must have a lot of time on your hands. I am jealous. tried to send a PM but your inbox is FULL.

Edit: CBrahs, my inbox has space now, send one about the Turbojet if you like.

She doesn't mind too much. The stuff in the pics is from my old '99 and started over for my '06. I still work on it in there, drawing, fitting, etc. The grinding/welding I do at work or in my garage.

I will try to get some more pics up tonight or tomorrow.

JVolpe, thanks. Did you measure any particular area or is just from looking at it? Unless I have a DEAD LEVEL place to park it I won't be able to tell 100%. I don't care if it's a bit rear high, but I don't want it front high at all.

Eye ball only,it looked level with-in an inch tops. I have had 2 different systems on it since then so I can't go out and measure it for you now.

I mainly eye balled, but also put level on the bedrail and rear was still up. Here is a picture that maybe you can tell the rear is still a little higher. This is with the 2" spacers, stock rear and empty.
