How much lift am I going to need to clear 37" BFG tires on 17"x8. 5" wheels with 0 degrees offset. I was planing on 35"s but I found a deal on these and I am hoping to make them work for me. The truck will NEVER be used off road so I am hoping for as little lift as possible. Any info will be great. Thanks

If I had to guess I'd say 5-6" but I don't know exactly how big a 37" BFG is. These trucks have deep sides/fenders so it takes an abnormally large amount of lift to clear the bigger tires.

IF you never ever go offroad I think 3-4" would work fine. MOST stock 4x4's are able to clear 35's with no lift and very little if any rubbing. 37's are not that much bigger (obviously)

Guess I was way off, sorry. I suppose it would depend on offset too. Greg uses +40 mm offset which would aid in clearance.

Thanks for all the info guys. I'm glad to see that I wont need a ton of lift to clear the 37s. Now I just need to see if this deal actually happens otherwise it will be 35s and a leveling kit. Either way I'll be putting the photos on when it's done. Thanks again.

lOOK AT my past posts, 37" tires fit on stock rims with NO LIFT at all. !!!

Did some very hard 4x4ing and did not have a singel rub prblem. Now on aftermarket rims with a +2" offset my 35" would rub the suspension.

Really! Is it just because they are still under the fenders as opposed to sticking out? I already have a 5 in Skyjacker and was waiting on wheels to put the 37's on because some people said I'd need to go w/ new wheels w/ the 37's. Anyone have any problems running the 37's on stockers off-roading?

I would say that's more severe than I plan on. Now, Toyo MT's or GYR MTR's? I've heard some good things on here about the Toyo's. Some people say the 37 Mtrs too soft? I have to drive my 37's to work everyday, and out to play on weekends, so hwy life is a must.
