how much p.s.i. should i run to a pair of air horns?

hi , just got 2 pair of air horns (24" grovers& 24" internatoinal harvester ) & a air tank & a. r. b. type compresser. how much air should i give them suckers to make them as loud as possable. also any body got any feed back on using all four. thanks, any help will be really apreciated. carl

The POS model #1167 compressor that Grover Products sells with their installation kits cuts in at 80 psi & cuts out at 100 psi.

My Grover 1167 pump cuts out at 105 PSI -- probably within the range of variables.

as much psi as you can , I'm runnin 150 but the key is volume , get the largest dia, line you can & put the valve as close as you can to the horns

thanks to all that replied so far. question i have now is, if i run the largest diameter line will i be able to get the solonoidof same dia. ? what ive seen a while back was some plastic line to accomadate the lanyard. anybody done an instalation from scratch?and remember the stuff needed.

mine is a scratch instail but I used a foot valve , I was going too go lanyard but I didn't like the one that was availiable not that there arn't ones out there that I might like & change too later
