CMckee,

Check your email from me. :cool:

I'm sure that you trust your local trans guy. Just make sure you are on the same page with the repair. High power & torque of these Cummins are a little different than a regular trans. :-{}

Maybe have him talk to a diesel trans guy might make sure its the latest upgrade. :cool:

Just some rambling thoughts,

Best of luck,

WaynesWorld i understand i could put another sloppy TC and just touch what needs to be touched, but i don't want someone to buy this truck and be stranded 250 or so miles away from home. I don't do a half (insert bad word here) job while working and won't start just to sell something! I have a motto "do it right the first time and don't worry about it again" That's what i live by!!

In any case i appreciate the help you were trying to give ;)

Did we answer all of the thought's that we were supposed to ?? Sure hope so.

Curtis,

I'm sorry if I mispoke to you. :eek:

I ment no harm to you or your work. :eek:

Its good to hear that you would do it right even though you are selling the truck. Oo.

Our next member will appreciate it!!! ;)

Good luck,

WAYNES WORLD

The Blumenthal (I don't recommend them) I had ran almost $3900 installed and the DTT w/o billet shafts was above that. And if I go back and look the parts they used ran upto more than $2000 pretty easily. The DTT should hold about 400-450 hp w/o the shafts.
