my plans are to add a Cather (either regular or spechal, do know wich one would work better) and a tst pm3 or somthing sumular with a set of twins (stock hx-35 / B2), the truck alread has 5" exaust and f1 m2. 5 injectores. who much power should i expect to see. by my calculations, around the 450 - 500 range. with this setup is it posible to tow a 12K at altitued and not get hotter then 1200 or will the injector and catcher combo be to small to spool the turbos up fast enough? my goal is to have 550 for driving arond town and have 450 that i can use all of for towing? i have yet to figure out how im going to achive this, mybe biger injectors?

first of all the 35 will may not even spool the b2 your best bet would be to put an HT3B below the 35 that is a pretty well known setup. you will also probaly need MORE work done to the ATS trany, the 2. 5's are too small you will need aboutbetween mach 3-4 and you would stll have a cool EGT pulling. How much money are you looking to spend??????

i have 3600 saved up for upgrading to twins, and i can get the money for the f1 4's but i dont want to get them quite yet as i just got the 2. 5's. also iv been told by the local diesel shop that the HT3B is not relyable at high HP in the long run and a b2 would be better.

so if i get F1 M 4's and get twins (hx-35, HT3B) with a catcher ecu, i will be able to tow a 12k Trailer at atltutude and not get my egts over 1200*. how bad will smoke be driving around town, and also how bad will the turbo lag be. my current set up (stock turbo j hooked, f1 2. 5's, ez edge, and exaust) is about as much trubo lag as i can stand. also how much power should i expect to see from this new setup? and what about long term reliability? i cant afford to blow up my engine.

Then stop thinking about bombing, you are about to get into the extreme end of bombing where things can break and be expensive to fix.

I would also suggest that when/if you add twins that you budget for an o-ringed head, also if you have not addressed the fuel delivery (lift pump) it will be time for that too. If you don't have a full blown (stage 5) ATS transmission then now would be the time.

I plan to o-ring the head in the near furture, but as of now i will atlast as ARP head studs. the twin set up is only suppos to hit 50PSI with the stock head gasket with APR studs should be able to handel no problem. also i alread have the stage 5 ATS tranns as i took into account what i wanted the truck to make 550 one day when i bought it. if a single turbo would be better for my persoses then i have no problem getting one, but from what iv been told a singel would have too much lag to be any good to me towing. i planed for this truck to have 450-550 hp from the day that a bought it, thats why i bought a cummins and not a duracrap or powerjoke. i am finaly ready to do it and now i just need to figure out how. i am well awair of the risk i take by adding this much power, all im trying to do is minimise the risks as much as i can where i can. i only have one chance at this and i want to do it right the first time (unlike dodge dealershops).

Souds like you are ready. Not sure where you are located in the US, but I would contact one of the vendors of twins, tell em what you want and see what they can do for you. I like Piers (www.piersdiesel.com) as I have met him and he builds some nice stuff. If you are on the other coast there is Olee Poole or JR Adkins or Enterprise Engine or Schieds or Hasiley or Jet Pilot or or or or.

You might also try calling Industrial Injection and talking to them. They have some very nice trucks and seem to be making big power and at least talk about towing with it.

Good luck and happy bombing.
