I have a 2000 4x4 with the only mods being an Edge Comp, BHAF, and muffler delete, along with a Vulcan big-line pusher pump kit for good fuel pressure. I run the Comp on 3X5 since my only transmission mods are a transgo shift kit. How much rwhp and rwtq should that setup make and how much with the comp on 5x5?(i turn it up occasionally for those pesky ricers).

thanks

Mark

I would say 275-325 hp. My truck made 322 hp with the same mods that you have but it's a 5 spd. I don't know how much power you lose with the auto.

In stock form you we're probably only doing rwhp of 185 +/-, add the Comp's advertised 40 - 120hp based on levels. I'd say PTermuhle's pretty darn close.

Now look at my minor mods and the numbers I did @ fall brawl (see signature) - keep in mind my auto is DTT'ed so a bit more power gets to the wheels than the stock trans.

Dang so you've basically just got a Comp, exhaust and injectors (along with built transmission) and making that much power!

Here's what my 2000 did as I uprated it. 6-speed. The DDUFM is a re-badged Edge box--drag version. Probably ran it on 3x, but don't have the dyno sheets handy. These numbers are for 5x settings. I do remember that 5x3 and 5x5 were no different on top numbers, one was a little sootier. :p

So if'n your truck responds like mine, it'd be around 330 less the aforementioned slushbox losses.

Dyno record- all run on Mustang 1750 at 600' elevation.
